Katherine tugged her ring off and placed it in Cassies extended hand. Crossing to the other side she stood ready “What now?” she asked. Katherine hadnt really witnessed a witch do powerful spells but i guess now would be the first. She looked at Cassie, so young but so brave to do this spell she had power, Katherine could sense it. Just like she sensed Emilys powers.
Cassie clutched the ring in her hand and grabbed the dagger. “When we take something from the spirit, we give something back. Catch,” she said throwing the dagger to Katherine. “Give some of your blood, in order to awaken the spirits of the earth.” She took the crystal from her pocket and clutched it in her fist. “Now, we start.” She closed her eyes and started to chant. “tutela ex novus quod vetus , tribuo quis must exsisto necessarius pro tutus haven.” Cassie repeated until the flames grew and grew.
I do not see why I should be telling this to anyone.

Elijah nodded, walking alongside her. “A walk sounds like a good idea.” He said, smiling over at Cassie. He did feel in the mood to clear his mind but also to see whether he could finally put his plan into motion. “I’ve been here for a while although I haven’t met many people. I don’t get out very much.” He admitted, shrugging casually. It was the truth; he’d mainly kept to himself during his stay as to avoid any suspicion from the town residents. It made doing what he had to do much easier. The only people he talked to on a regular basis were his siblings and Charlotte, that was really all.
Elijah felt like scowling when Cassie asked about his siblings. What was he supposed to tell her? That his brother betrayed them and kept them in coffins for centuries? That while they were supposed to be united, they weren’t? “I have a brother although we’re not really close.” He said sternly, hoping that his tone would provide a clear indicator that he was in no way up for discussing his family. Elijah considered mentioning Rebekah and Cas but decided against it, it was too much information. “How about you? Any family with you?”
Don’t bother lying to me, is what Cassie would have loved to reply. But in circumstances like this, she can’t afford being caught using a spell to a vampire like Elijah. Cassie took a deep breath. She already knows the detlails Elijah had given her. But she just casually said, “oh, I see.” They continued to walk, and Cassie continued to clutch the crystal in her hand. She hoped Elijah wouldn’t sense the spell quickly, not until she had what she needed.
“No families, my grandmother is, retained. My mother was murdered, and at last, my father who, everyone thought was dead for years, is actually alive.” Cassie said. “So, as you can see, I’m not the perfect blonde who has everything in life.You could call it complicated.” She looked at Elijah, he was really holding back information. Even without the spell Cassie could already tell from the look from his face, mostly his eyes. They continued to walk.

Ah yes, quite complicated. I’ve heard a lot of things about him, not to mention the thing he did a few years back to one of the Gilbert siblings? For a small town, this place has a lot of action. But of course, I will not see you take a major part in that. Loyalty does make a family, but, I’m sorry to say, I do not know how it feels to have a family anymore. Me about being a witch doesn’t have a grudge with any of you vampires or your brother to be precise. As to your family, I know enough to save myself from any trouble from your family.
Ah, yes. He found the Gilberts to be definitely intriguing although I have to say that that’s not even half the story. I think my brother takes it upon himself to be the one responsible for causing trouble, it’s his specialty. I, on the otherhand, prefer to live a quiet existence. It makes for less headache, no? I do apologise for your family and I think it wise for you to avoid any trouble with my family. Many have tried and it hasn’t worked out in their favour.
I would give anything to know more about your family, but I would give nothing if it would bring me to trouble. You would understand a child craving for the love of a father right? What I need from Klaus, since he had had some bad history with some witches, is if he knows anything about a certain man named John Blackwell. That is all. Though rest assured, I won’t be a part of any trouble here, unless it would be in different circumstances.
Cassie took a deep breathe as she parked her car by one of the entrances to the forest. It wasn’t her first time helping a vampire, she helped Anna. She turned of the engine and stepped out of the car and walked into the forest. It was the only place where no one would disturbed, or see them….
katherine flew through the forest at a lightning fast speed. she had to be done by daybreak unless Cassie wanted to fix her ring. she smelled a witches scent and followed it leading her to a clearing near a big tree. “Cassie?” Katherine spoke wearily. she heard a crack of a stick and spun around face to face with the young witch. Startled by her sudden appearence she stepped back a couple steps. Raising an eyebrow which meant for Cassie to talk
Cassie found herself surprised to see Katherine all of a sudden. “Finally,” is all she said. “She took out the medallion of her father and wore it around her neck. “Go at the other side of the fire, and let’s start this.” She ordered Katherine. “And your ring, give it to me.” She said, reaching out her hand to Katherine. She was obviously not so interested to what Katherine is about the say. The spell she is doing would be long, and doing it without any help from another witch might trigger her Dark Magic and finally take over.

A new moon. Cassie took out her crystal, a dagger she took from Jake and finally the medallion of her father. Cassie started the bonfire, and waited for Katherine to show up. If she doesn’t she won’t spend time trying to help her, again.

So clutched the crystal in her pocket as Cassie continued to walk by the park. Karla just texted her to meet her by the forest in 5. She wasn’t sure it was a good idea to be out here at a New Moon, but she couldn’t stand being alone in the house for so many hours. Turning at the corner, Cassie entered the park by the forest. She continued to go further and stopped when she passed a bench and decided to wait for Karla there. Crystal clutched in hand Cassie practiced reciting the Latin spell she will use on her friend Anna, and the vampire named Katherine.
Karla grabbed her jacket and threw on a beanie. She grabbed her phone and put it in her pocket. Ready to go, she walked out the door and down to the park. She noticed Cassie over by a bench and walked over. “Hey, Babe.” She said and smiled. She zipped up her jacket and put her hands in her pocket. “How’re you?” She asked and smiled.
Cassie looked up and saw Karla. “Hey yourself. Long time no talk.” Cassie smiled. “Me? Oh just here trying to be the most normal girl I could ever be. You?” Cassie patted the free space on the bench for Karla to take. “Why won’t you sit down? We could have a talk.”
